Happiness is something that every human desires and pursues, but people have different options on what happiness truly is and how it is actually achieved. Some believe through wealth, some through fame and some through position. There are numerous theories concerning this.

With an estimated 350 million people currently affected by depression, happiness continues to be elusive number of people. Hence, a vital question is: what are the keys to happiness?

Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim tackles this question in this book and mentions a number of ways to attain happiness in light of the Qur’an and the Sunnah, starting with the fundamental of all fundamentals, which is Tawheed (Islamic Monotheism). He explains what happiness is and he clarifies the ways to attain it.

Al-Allamah Muhammad Aman Al-Jaami mentions some explanatory comments to the tremendous words of Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim.
