How to Prepare Henna for Hair Colour

Step 1 – Prepare the Henna Paste

For long hair, mix approximately 100 g of Henna Powder with 3 tablespoons of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar.

Gradually add one of the following until you achieve a thick, smooth paste:

• Yogurt
• Full-fat milk
• Warm strong black tea
• Warm strong black coffee

Cover the mixture in an airtight container and allow it to rest for approximately 6 hours or, ideally, overnight.
