Facilitating Inheritance | Muhammad bin Salih Al-Uthaymeen

The verses of inheritance mentioned explicitly by Allah in the Quran are three: the first verse discusses the inheritance of ascendants and descendants. The second verse discusses the inheritance of spouses and the children of the mother. The third verse discusses the inheritance of siblings from a different mother. Allah Almighty clarified that He ordained inheritance according to His knowledge and what His wisdom dictates, and that this is a binding decree from Him that cannot be transgressed or diminished. He promised whoever obeys Him in these boundaries and follows His limits and decrees, gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein eternally, with those upon whom Allah has bestowed favor from among the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous. He warned whoever disobeys Him and transgresses His limits that He will admit him to Hellfire, to abide therein eternally, and for him is a humiliating torment. In this رسالة (treatise), Sheikh Al-Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy on him, explains these inheritance shares, clarifies their rulings, and facilitates ways to understand them and grasp the implications of their texts.
