تيسير العلام شرح عمدة الأحكام: This book contains a select compilation of the soundest narrations of the Prophet - peace and blessings be upon him - chosen by the author from the Sahihayn of Bukhari and Muslim, and arranged by jurisprudential chapters; to aid in deriving rulings from their correct evidences. Due to the importance of the book, His Eminence Sheikh Abdullah Al-Bassam - may Allah have mercy on him - undertook its explanation in a style characterized by ease, accessibility, and detailed exposition of topics. He first discussed the general meaning, striving for literal conformity, and clarifying the wisdom, legislation, preamble, and other implications contained within the words and phrases. If the context required clarification from some of the hadith chains not included by the author, the annotator included them briefly, drawing attention to this, to ensure complete benefit and proper research. Then, he extracted from the hadith the rulings and manners it indicates, then mentioned the strong disagreements among scholars, along with their evidence and reasoning, while keen to explain the wisdom of the legislation, the beauty of Islam, and its lofty goals and noble objectives behind these texts, so that the reader may appreciate the virtues of his religion and its honorable aims, and understand that it is a religion and a state.
