Madarij al-Salikin by Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya is an extension of Surah Al-Fatiha, encompassing its demands, its refutation of all deviant and misguided sects, and the stations of those journeying to God and the stages of the gnostics, and the difference between their means and their ends. This is an abridgment of Madarij al-Salikin, with jurisprudential and linguistic digressions, some evidence, and unusual words removed, making the book easier to read and understand for the reader.
