The latest and approved publications of the Foundation

Sahih al-Bukhari is the most authentic book of Prophetic Hadith according to the Ahl al-Sunnah wal Jama'ah. It was compiled by Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn Ismail al-Bukhari. It is the first work to compile authentic hadith, arranged according to jurisprudential topics. The total number of hadiths in his book is seven thousand two hundred and seventy-five with repetitions, and four thousand hadiths without repetitions. Al-Nawawi نقل (reported) the consensus of the Ummah on the authenticity of this book and the obligation to act upon its hadiths, stating: "The Ummah has agreed upon the authenticity of these two books and the obligation to act upon their hadiths," referring to Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. Sheikh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen – may Allah have mercy on him – explained it.
