The Holy Quran: English translation of the meanings and Commentary Hard Cover by Yusuf Abdullah Ali

The translation of the Holy Qur’an by the late Abdullah Yusuf Ali is among the widely spread translation of the Holy Qur’an. Due to its distinguishing characteristics, scholarly notes, and commentaries, it is sought-after by both Muslims and non-Muslims.

However, it was not free from unintended human errors and faults. Hence, due to these facts, the King Fahd Quran Complex of Al Madinah Al Munawara (KFQC) launched a notable initiative to revise, correct, and adopt the best expression wherever necessary. Alhamdulillah, under the supervision of highly qualified scholars of the time, in both Quranic Science and English Language, the mission was a success.

Nevertheless, in recent times, the KFQC has discontinued publishing this translated version by Abdullah Yusuf Ali. The institution prefers a lighter version of the translation by the late Sheikh Dr. Muhsin Khan for distribution. Consequently, this has made the unrevised (original) version of Abdullah Yusuf Ali to be widely distributed again around the world. Dakwah Corner Bookstore (DCB) have decided to bear the weight of republishing the KFQC edition again to prevent the readers from befalling the unrevised version.

The DCB edition has maintained the initial preface by the KFQC. We hope this edition will inform the readers of the corrections and revisions made by the KFQC. DCB have also tried within their best capacity to beautify the artwork and present it in a more appropriate size, look, and feel.
