The First Saudi State & The Story of Ad-Diriyyah
BKGE0319
Regular price Dhs. 120.00 Ex. VAT.During the mid eighteenth century in the centre of the Arabian Peninsula an eminent scholar faced his final expulsion from yet another town after its Amīr feared reprisal from hostile rulers for having granted him a haven to call to Tawhīd.
Virtually alone and not conceding to despair; he travelled by foot in the mid-day Arabian heat; Shaikh Muḥammad bin ‘Abdil-Wahhāb chose his ultimate destination – wisely. The remarkable events that followed and the aid and victory his call achieved laid the foundations for what would become known as the First Saudi State. The Shaikh; along with the people of his chosen destination were destined for extraordinary achievements, and dominance in ascendancy and governance that had been unparalleled for centuries. Such were the allies he was ordained to have stand by his side; and such were the extraordinary episodes that were to follow and such was the facilitation their call was granted in the face of overwhelming odds, formidable enemies and bitterly antagonistic confederacies – that it leaves no doubt for the one who observes as to the true nature of their call and message.

Imam Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah (died 752H) stated: The two feet of a person who stands before Allah on the Day of Resurrection will not move until he is asked regarding two matters: ‘What was it that you worshipped? And what was your response to the Messengers?’ The answer to the first question is by actualisation of the words, none has the right to be worshipped except Allah‘ with knowledge, affirmation and action. The answer to the second question is by actualisation of the words, ‘Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah‘ with knowledge, affirmation, submission and obedience.” From these words it becomes clear the tremendous importance of the treatise before us whose subject matter is: is to single out Allah alone in His Lordship and worship, and the tremendous importance and station of the Messenger Muhammad (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and that his is the example to be followed. Upon You is to Follow my Sunnah and the Sunnah of The Rightly Guided Caliphs After Me
BKHA0047
Regular price Dhs. 16.00 Ex. VAT.Before you is explanation of a statement of the noble Prophet Muhammad, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, in which the Prophet mentions some mighty principles of the Islamic religion. The hadeeth (prophetic statement) begins with a sermon that caused the Companions of the Prophet to weep and their hearts to tremble. They thought that Allah’s Messenger was about to leave them, so they sought his advice and counsel. He informed them that he has left them upon clear proof, that is so apparent that it’s night is like it’s day! That no one strays from this clarity except that he will be destroyed!
The Messenger of Allah, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, further explains that over time differing and controversy will occur between the Muslims. He mentions to them the cure to this differing and separation, that is: Stick to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the Rightly Guided Caliphs after me. He continued: Hold on to that with your molar teeth. The Messenger, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, warned the Muslims from innovating in matters of worship in this hadeeth: Be warned of the newly invented matters for verily every newly invented matter is an innovation and every innovation is misguidance, and to obey the Muslims rulers:I advise you with the fear of Allah and to hear and obey (your leaders) even if an Abyssinian slave were to rule over you. The hadeeth is beautifully explained by the Scholar and former teacher at the Islamic University of Madinah Shaikh Ubayd Al-Jaabiree and it has been compiled and presented to you in this book.”
The Etiquette of Congregational Prayer
BKPR0059
Regular price Dhs. 15.00 Ex. VAT.This short treatise explains some of the important aspects of prayer and the etiquette of praying in congregation as well as the role of the Imaam in leading and making sure the congregation behind him is lined up correctly, and the duties of the worshippers to follow him in accordance to the Prophetic Sunnah. Read More Below....
When an affair troubled the Prophet, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, he would seek protection by praying. The prayer is the comfort of the heart and the coolness of the eyes because it is a connection between the servant and his Lord the Most High. When the servant enters into the prayer, then he stands before his Lord directing his speech towards Him, exalting Him with praise, and mentioning His Greatness and Magnificence. He glorifies and praises his Lord with speech and actions of the prayer. He asks Allah, the Most High, for the best of this world and the Hereafter. The closest a servant can be to his Lord is when he is in prostration.
So guard and preserve this mighty act of worship which is the support of the Religion and the coolness of the eyes of the leader of all the Messengers, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. Fulfill it with tranquility, serenity and complete submissiveness, for there is no prayer for the one who is not tranquil and at ease in the prayer. How can it befit a believer that he pecks the ground like the pecking of a crow whilst he knows that he is standing before his Lord? How can it befit a believer that he pecks the ground in his prayer whilst he knows that he will not be rewarded for it? He has not discharged his obligation with this kind of prayer. This type of prayer is the same as if he had not prayed at all.
This short treatise explains some of the important aspects of prayer and the etiquette of praying in congregation as well as the role of the Imaam in leading and making sure the congregation behind him is lined up correctly, and the duties of the worshippers to follow him in accordance to the Prophetic Sunnah.

O brothers, be firm, be firm at this time and in this age where trials and tribulations have increased so much, and in turn, turning people away from accepting the true Islam.
People faced situations and circumstances, living lives upon superstition and misguidance. It may be that many of them lived far away from the religion of Allah. Either they lived as Shi'ites, communists, secularists, or amongst socialist parties and so on. From these destructive foundations and slogans, many calls were established, yet all of them evaporated at implementation stage. Their value disintegrated in the minds of the people, such that many began to realise that true value and happiness in this life and the hereafter is only achieved by following the true Islam."

“There is no doubt that the youth of the Ummah are the foundations of the human building upon which is established this nation. So the youth are the younger generation that will carry the responsibility after their fathers. The youth have within them bodily strength and thinking, they have talents, skills and aptitude that are new and modern that are not present in older people.
The elder folk have wisdom and experience, whilst the youth have strength and preparedness and readiness. So if the youth and the elders were to work together for the advancement of the Ummah, much good would be achieved. However if the youth go their own way, seperate from the elders, the devils from the humans and the Jinn will come between them (tocause mischief). So the sidelining of youth towards other objectives and aims is harmful to the Ummah.” [Shaykh Salih ibn Fawzan al-Fawzan]

Birthday celebrations, they have their origins and practice with the greatest disbelievers, polytheists and tyrants upon the Earth such as Pharoah and Ptolemy and are connected to magic, astrology and the casting of horoscopes.
Read More below...
Much debate regarding the subject of the Mawlid has taken place and continues to take place. The confusion regarding this subject returns back to the lack of clarity about what precisely is the nature of the innovation (bidʿah) that the legislation of Islam, the Shariʿah, has prohibited and warned against.
As for birthday celebrations, they have their origins and practice with the greatest disbelievers, polytheists and tyrants upon the Earth such as Pharoah and Ptolemy and are connected to magic, astrology and the casting of horoscopes. They were unknown to the Prophets of Bani Israʾil and unknown in the legislations which Allah revealed to them. Likewise, the early Christian Church, for the first three hundred years at least, never celebrated birthdays until the era of Constantine the Pagan Roman Emperor in the fourth century CE who merged what was already, by that time, a gross distortion of the clear message of Jesus (alayhis salaam) with Paganism, its symbols and customs.
It was the Ismaʾili Baṭini Shiʿite hypocrites and disbelievers who entered this practice among the Muslims three centuries after the era of the Companions of the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam). This work provides a thorough historical and legislative treatment of this subject and addresses the foundational and subsidiary arguments used to justify this innovated practice.
